American Classic
Gravelly- think Aznavour, Willie Nelson’s American Classic is brilliant. I love him singing timeless classics such as the Nearness of You, Fly Me To The Moon. Impressed? Well it gets better, he also features Norah Jones and Diana Krall. I don’t even know why the album is categorized as country, it’s jazz all the way. The sort of album that’s perfect on a rainy or slow day, perfect for contemplation and introspection. You have to love Willie Nelson, from his political activism to his arrest for marijuana possession, the man is a legend who deserves the acclaim that’s being heaped upon him. Worth adding to your collection, American Classic is available on August 25th.
