The Happy Hollows

If elves did acid, this is what they would sound like. Spells, the debut album of The Happy Hollows and which was a joint effort between the band and Postal Service is a portal to some of the most unusual music that I’ve heard in recent years. The album is a trip in every sense of the word- its divergent, trippy, occasionally overly enthusiastic but really interesting. This is indie, irreverent music at its very best-  love Silver and We’ll Find You. I’m a convert! Spells is available 10/06/09.
