Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

Last week, we were informed that most of Jacksons weren’t on board the Jermaine “Eddie Munster” Jackson Vienna Publicity Train. Truth be told, out of all the places that Michael Jackson performed, choosing Vienna as the setting for a tribute concert was just plain bizarre.

Anyway, the concert has been CANCELED. Just as well because now there are confirmed reports that most of the headliners (Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole etc) wouldn’t be performing. I don’t know about you but I certainly wouldn’t want to go see Jermaine Jackson try and revitalize his career.

Organizer Gerorg Kindel offered a differing and diplomatic reason as to why the concert was a no go, saying “The artists were disrespectfully treated as B-list artists by the media,”

Jermaine on the other hand, had this to say about his derailed concert

“It has just taken the wrong course,” … “I personally didn’t want to take that course because Michael wouldn’t have wanted to be part of anything that was going that way.”

Ummm, is everyone trying to make a buck  from Michael? Even the Vienna city council was in on the racket, saying that it’s support of the concert has been withdrawn because it wouldn’t generate enough advertising revenue. Vultures….

If you’re even remotely interested in encouraging this fiasco, tickets for the London concert will start at $73 and an alleged line-up will be announced in December.
