Legion

Though its five long months away, I can’t wait to see Legion- a movie about how God finally looses his faith and mankind and therefore unleashes his host of angels to bring about the Apocalypse. However, mankind’s only hope lies with the Archangel Michael, who for some unknown reason unknown to us has decided to thwart God’s orders (doesn’t make much sense but…). Legion has got some serious similarities to one of my favorite movie franchises of all time: Warlock featuring Julian Sands.

Anyway, Michael, a pregnant waitress and a ragtag group of strangers in a desert diner are the only thing that stand behind God’s Legion and the annihilation of mankind which will be heralded by the second coming of Christ- i.e. the baby. A tad convoluted, but holds the promise for an entertaining movie. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about angels with arsenals of machine guns and rocket launchers but I’m definitely intrigued. Starring Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Doug Jones, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand, Willa Holland.
