The Invention Of Lying

I can’t tell you how much of a Ricky Gervais fan I am- words wouldn’t suffice.  As such, I’m definitely going to go  see his latest film: The Invention Of Lying.  This farce tells the story of an alternate world where lying does not exist until a man at the end of his tether suddenly discovers the ability to lie. What begins as a means to acquire all his hearts desires quickly spirals into utter chaos and pandemonium. I’s the perfect romcom for a Friday evening.

Written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Matther Robinson, and starring Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Louis C.K., Jeffrey Tambor, Fionnula Flanagan, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey, Donna Sorbello and Stephanie March, The Invention Of Lying opens nationwide 10/02/09.
