Jamie Waylett

Jamie Waylett plead guilty to the charges of growing cannabis in his mother’s home this morning.According to the BBC,

“…police found shots of the plants on Mr Waylett’s camera after he was arrested for taking a picture of officers as he and a friend drove past.”

Waylett is expected back in court on July 21st, if convicted of a Class- B drug charge with the intent to distribute, Waylett could face any where between 5 to 16 years in jail.  It is highly unlikely though that he will be charged with just possesion of a controlled substance. The verdict might affect his presence in the other Harry Potter films. Thus far, the studio has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident but what’s interesting is his marked absense in any of the upcoming films.
