This Is It World Tour (2009-2010) was to have marked Michael Jackson’s return to his unclaimed throne. The title of the tour in hindsight was somewhat prophetic. As of 06/23/09 1.5 million tickets had been purchased worldwide and the majority of those had been sold within a matter of hours. It was estimated that the first 10 concerts out of the 50 would have earned Michael Jackson over a $100 million. Alas, the singer passed away from an alleged heart attack 3 weeks shy of the first leg of his concert in London.

The HIStory World Tour & Blood on The Dance Floor (1996-1997): proved to everyone that Michael Jackson was still the undisputed King of Pop despite all his personal and physical ailments. It drew in the largest number of fans- an estimated 4.5 million. Furthermore, it yielded over $178 million in revenue.

The Dangerous Tour (1992-1993): Jackson’s second tour and just like the preceding one it was  also another phenomenal success. There were an estimated in 3.5 million fans worldwide in attendance.
