Initially a rumor that started seven years ago but now confirmed by BBC. Matt Damon has confirmed that he will be playing the part of Liberace’s lover in an upcoming film based on the life of the flamboyant piano virtuoso. got your attention? Good, there’s more Michael Douglas is set to play Liberace!

Now, I don’t know about you but Damon can do no wrong ( well actually he can- The Brothers Grimm) but I’m kinda interested in seeing this. First of all, its a Steve nSoderbergh movie, it’s got two very talented actors and its about time that Damon resurrected his gay alter ego (please channel Dickie Greenleaf again, please).

Damon had this to say about kissing his co-star:

“I’m sure Michael can teach me a few things.”… a “bit awkward” [but the roles, the story and the script] “are great”.

The untitled project begins filming next year, hopefully it will be worth the wait!
