Don’t you just love celebrity justice? Jamie Waylett, the cannabis growing sidekick to Tom Felton’s Draco Malfoy was sentenced to a 120 hours of “grueling” community service.  The 20 year old star plead guilty last week to possession and the cultivation of 10 plants in the his mother’s house.

There were minor concerns that Waylett who already had a brush with the law with cocaine possession would receive the maximum 14-year sentence for intent to distribute. Luckily, the presiding Judge Timothy Workman ruled that the cultivation was of a paltry scale and obviously intended for personal use. I wonder if Warner Bros. will continue to feature him in the upcoming Harry Potters?

I agree with the verdict; however, I only wish that the same leniency was applied to ordinary citizens.
