Poor Jamie or as we’ve all come to know him Crabbe, must  certainly be wishing that he could magic his way out of the current mess that he’s in. The evidence just seems to be amassing against the 19 year old actor who was arrested in April with 8 bags of marijuana and a further 10 plants of cannabis at his residence. In the past, Waylett managed to weasel his way out of a cocaine possession charge. He is scheduled in court on 07/16/09.

If convicted of a Class- B drug charge with the intent to distribute, Waylett could face any where between 5 to 16 years in jail. I sincerely doubt though that they’re going to throw the entire kitchen sink at the boy, even Pete Doherty got away with much worse!

If he does get off, there are chances that it might affect his presence in the other Harry Potter films. Thus far, the studio has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident but what’s interesting is his marked absense in any of the upcoming films. What do you think of the matter?
