Now I don’t know about you but to me there’s really no competition between the two. I am a true blue Harry Potter fan and as far as I’m concerned, Twilight can go suck it,  literally. If it ever came down to it,  Potter would beat Cullen’s ass the same way did he during the Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire! I dare you to disagree with me, please - I am this short of going to whittle a wand and declaring a wizard versus vampire duel and I have the werewolves to back e up!

All jokes aside, I don’t really get all the hoopla over Twilight and I love  me  some vampire!  Just not those ones, I have to say that I was quite disappointed in the Twilight series, I found them to be rather insipid-  there was no moment that had me clawing frantically at the  next page or  left me craving the next book. Furthermore, they were incredibly predictable. The only thing about Twilight that I found particularly interesting were Meyer’s vivid descriptions about Washington state. With the Potter series, you were constantly introduced to new concepts and twists in almost every chapter. There was a palpable energy in the series that Twilight lacked. Stephanie Meyer if you ever read this, it’s just my opinion but I have to defer to camp Rowling- nothing personal.

Maybe I am just biased and bitter because I was forced to endure Twilight with hundreds of cooing teenage girls and guys in the theatre, some who were crying every single time that Edward Cullen appeared on the screen- I still have nightmares about this.
