Rob Knox

With all the commotion surrounding Harry Potter, it’s all too easy to overlook Rob Knox, the 18 year old actor who was tragically murdered in May of 2008 in Sidcup, London. Knox, was stabbed to death by Karl Bishop a mere 3 days after  shooting his last scene for The Half-Blood Prince as he attempted to protect his brother who was being attacked.  Unfortunately, Bishop stabbed Knox 5 times and is currently serving a 22 year minimum sentence in England.

Rob Knox portrayed “Marcus Belby”, a Ravenclaw student who would have had appeared in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Due to his courage and convictions, I believe that Knox is the unsung star of the movie. Rest in Peace Rob Knox, your legacy is one that we shall not let be forgotten.
