Janis Joplin

I thought long and hard about this one- actually I didn’t, just finding out about this was a call to arms. It has come to my attention that Vanessa Hudgens is interested in portraying the late great Janis Joplin. Now, I’m all for giving a kid a break but in this case the answer is an unequivocal NO! If the studio executives even seriously consider her bid, I swear I’ll personally pay a contingent of puking, shitting bums to deface any West Coast theater where the movie is being shown.

Zooey Deschanel

I mean it’s Janis fucking Joplin! No offense to Vanessa Hudgens- but you’re so Disney- even if you’re fond of taking salacious pictures of yourself. Other actresses vying for the role include Zooey Deschanel, Pink and Lindsay Lohan. Seriously, make your voices heard- if anyone’s going to play Joplin it should be Zooey Deschanel!
