I feel like a romantic Grinch today, so reviewing a collection of love ballads from Barbara Streisand is not exactly something that I’m relishing - now that I’ve got some of the bile of my heart, here we go. What can I say about the  highly revered  and beloved jazz goddess, Barbara Streisand?

She’s good- its that simple- you don’t sell over a 140 million albums if you suck. Love Is The Answer, showcases Streisand’s superb, breathlessly languid  vocals and pianist Diana Krall’s quartet to evoke memories of love lost, love won and love unrequited- almost  a pity party if you ask me. Nevertheless, this two disc deluxe  album is exquisite, if you’re a fan of love songs, unparalleled production from Krall and one of the greatest jazz divas that ever lived, then look no further.
